Today we find a new version of the Chuwi CoreBook XPro laptop, as we now have it available with the efficient Intel Core i5-1235U processor.
The Chuwi CoreBook XPro offers an attractive design, with aluminum body and now mounting the Intel Core i5-1235U processor that we have already seen in some of our reviews. A chip that stands out for its Intel Iris Xe GPU that will allow us to play several demanding 3D titles or demanding emulators. As we can see, this laptop has a full backlit keyboard and a large trackpad.
An interesting hardware configuration that also integrates 16 GB of expandable RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD, we also have another SATA slot application.
Chuwi CoreBook XPro Specifications
This new version of the Chuwi CoreBook XPro integrates the Intel Core i5-1235U processor manufactured in 7 nm with a consumption of 15/55 W TPD. This chip has 10 cores, two high-performance and eight low-power and in total can handle 12 processes up to 4.4 GHz. As GPU we find an Intel Iris Xe with 80 EU. With this processor we will have no problems to move any demanding design program and perform tasks quite demanding of hardware resources.
The RAM is 16 GB LPDDR4 2400 MHz but can be expanded thanks to the SO-DIMM slot accessible from the bottom, while for storage we have an M.2 NVMe SSD 512 GB capacity expandable with an M.2 2280 SATA SSD.
Other notable features
The screen of the Chuwi CoreBook XPro mounts a 15.6-inch IPS OGS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 16:9 aspect ratio and in its upper frame we find a 10 MP webcam with microphone. For wireless connectivity we have WIFI 5 Bluetooth 5.2 with internal antenna, improving in this aspect to its predecessor.
In terms of connectors, we have two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, another USB 2.0 port, 3.5 mm audio jack and Gigabit Ethernet. We also find a lock switch for the webcam and a power connector for the 70 Wh battery, which has a battery life of about 8 hours. The operating system installed is Windows 11, we have a generous trackpad and the backlit keys.
