Today we found a good offer inside the Aliexpress Anniversary for the new laptop Chuwi GeminiBook XPro. A laptop with a metal body and interesting specifications.
In the Chuwi GeminiBook XPro we have a fairly careful design where highlights its body made of aluminum and a good FullHD IPS screen with narrow frames. In this version we have an Intel N100 processor that improves quite a bit to the previous Intel Celeron as we have seen in some review. A processor that has a classic Intel HD Graphics GPU quite limited in heavy games, but that can be sufficient for browsing, productivity or use multimedia apps.
Chuwi GeminiBook XPro Specifications
The Chuwi GeminiBook XPro includes the Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads that reach up to 3.4 GHz. For graphics we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU supporting VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This processor is not designed for demanding 3D games, but it does allow us to use the device for many other daily office or multimedia tasks.
The RAM is 8 GB LPDDR5 4800 MHz Dual Channel which unfortunately cannot be expanded, as it is soldered. In the storage section we have an integrated 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD and another free slot to install another M.2 2280 SATA SSD.
Other features
The screen of the Chuwi GeminiBook XPro is a 14.1-inch IPS OGS with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 16:9 aspect ratio, in its upper frame we find a 2.0 MP webcam with microphone and physical lock button. For wireless connectivity, we have WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, something that will offer good speeds.
In terms of connectors, we have a USB-C 3.0 port, another USB-A 3.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and full HDMI post. We also find a power connector for the battery is 38 Wh (7.6 V / 5000 mAH) which has an autonomy close to 7 hours.
The operating system installed is Windows 11, we have a generous trackpad and full-size keyboard. The weight is only 1.4 Kg and the thickness is 19 mm.
