CHUWI HiPad Pro comes with Snapdragon 662, 8GB of RAM and Android 11


On August 3, we will have the new CHUWI HiPad Pro tablet for sale, which in this case surprises us with the inclusion of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and the presence of Android 11 as OS.

A tablet with a good job in its external design where we have a metal body of only 6.9 mm thick, with a weight of 480 grams and very small bezels that make the 10.8″ screen occupy 90% of the front. Note the adoption of a Punch Hole-type camera on one side, something that we had not seen until now in this type of Chinese tablets. Of the rest of its specifications, its 8 GB of RAM and the presence of Widevine L1 certification stand out that will allow the reproduction in FHD quality of some online streaming services.

SoC, RAM and storage

The CHUWI HiPad Pro has a mid-range SoC such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, an Octa Core manufactured in 11 nm with 4 ARM Cortex-A73 + 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an Adreno 610 GPU.

We also have 8 GB of LDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of high-speed UFS 2.1 storage memory built into the motherboard that we can increase thanks to the presence of a micro SD card reader.

Display and other specifications

The screen of the CHUWI HiPad Pro is a 10.8-inch IPS with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, brightness of 400 nits and a light sensor. The cameras section we have a 5 MP front camera in a hole on one of the sides of the screen with, while for the rear we have an 8 MP with LED flash.

We also have a 7000 mAh battery with 24 W QC3.0 fast charge, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0 GPS, FM radio, 4G-LTe Modem with Dual SIM, two microphones and 4 speakers. In terms of connectivity, we have a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for data and power.

Optionally, we can buy you a magnetic keyboard and stylus to use with your touch screen.
