Dream Quest budget-friendly miniPC with 8 / 128GB for basic use


With the massive arrival of teleworking and the online school, miniPCs are achieving a great increase in sales, since they are a cheap, efficient and sufficient solution for most basic uses.

The Dream Quest is another mini PC that comes to us from China and tries its luck in the market with a sufficient configuration to use office programs, Classroom or surf the internet with multiple open tabs thanks to its 8 GB of RAM. Its small metal box stands out, it only measures 139 x 139 x 39 mm, with a small decorative front led strip and the absence of fans for cooling, which guarantees the total absence of noise. Another option in the world of low-consumption miniPCs and suitable for basic use.

Processor, RAM and storage

The Dream Quest mini PC includes a passively cooled Intel processor, Intel Celeron J3455 Apollo Lake, a Quad Core manufactured in 14nm with x86 processors that reach up to 2.24 GHz and an Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU that allows resolution 4K @ 30fps . The RAM memory is 4/8 GB and includes 128 GB of eMMC storage memory that we can expand by installing a mSATA SSD inside or a 2.5 ” drive with SATA3 interface.

Other specs

For wireless connectivity we have Dual Band Wifi aC and Bluetooth. The connectors included are two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, Gigabit Ethernet port, and HDMI 1.4 and VGA video outputs.

As an operating system we have Windows 10 installed although it is compatible with any Linux distribution.
