Of course we will not be missing options of all kinds when it comes to buying a Smart Box with the new AMlogic S905X3 SoC since we are seeing in all possible ways and configurations. The Eachlink X3 Mini is another of these new TV-Box batch and have a quite affordable price that also surprises us by including an internal bay for 2.5-inch disks. It seems that in the back we can have access to some bay, but the thing is not very clear. The rest of its specifications are quite normal within the Box with S905X3 and 4GB of RAM.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Chinese box Eachlink X3 Mini includes the AMlogic S905X3 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm that reaches up to 1.9 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. This SoC has 4 ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores and an NPU for iA. The VPU is an Amlogic Video Engine 10 with HDR Dolby Vision optional, HDR10 +, HDR10, HLG and PRIME HDR among others. This Smart Box includes on board 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 32/64GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from your microSD card reader and it seems that also thanks to a SATA3 interface for 2.5 “storage units.
Other specifications
This Smart TV Box includes wireless connectivity level Wifi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2. The connectors included in the plastic box are the usual ones of this range, a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, a 10/100 fast Ethernet connector, an HDMI 2.1 video interface and a jack where to connect an IR sensor extension of his hand. The operating system is Android 9.0 and an IR remote control is included to start using this box right out of the box.
