Today we have as a novelty in the world of miniPC the new ECS LIVA Q2 a team whose main virtue is its compact dimensions of only 2.75 x 2.75 x 1.31 inches (70 x 70 x 33.4 mm) that will allow us to install it in any corner of the house. Its tiny size takes its toll as the LIVA Q2 expansion options are minimal and we will have to settle for using it as a basic low power PC, such as HTPC 4K with some interesting function in this aspect or as a streaming player.
Processor, RAM and storage
ECS LIVA Q2 will be available by mounting Intel Celeron N4000 processors, Celeron N4100 or a Pentium Silver N5000. It will also have 2 / 4GB of non-expandable LPDDR4 RAM memory, 32 / 64GB of eMMc storage memory that can only be expanded via the microSD card reader that supports units of up to 128GB capacity.
Other specifications
At the connectivity level, it also has WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.1 wirelessly, while as connectors we have only Gigabit Ethernet, a USB 2.0, a USB 3.1 and an HDMI 2.0 video output that supports HDMI-CEC control to turn it on remotely. This miniPC does not include an operating system although it is recommended to use it with Windows 10.
