ELEGOO Centauri Carbon, new Core XY 3D printer with heated chamber

Introducing the new ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 3D printer with robust CoreXY design and heated printing chamber to work with all types of materials.

A Core XY format printer that stands out for its highly resistant metal structure design. Thanks to its heated chamber, the margin of error of the manufactured parts is reduced, thus also avoiding deformations of all kinds that can be created by rapid thermal transitions. We have sensors for automatic Z-axis leveling and error correction with automatic compensation.

The ELEGOO Centauri Carbon is compatible with all common filaments, has a filament detection system and an automatic cutting blade. The construction volume is 256 x 256 x 256 mm so we can print parts of a fairly large size.

A good option both for beginners and to jump to a closed 3D printer or even to print prototypes of high quality.

ELEGOO Centauri Carbon Specifications

The ELEGOO Centauri Carbon 3D printer has a printing speed can reach up to no less than 500 mm/s and is capable of accelerating up to 20000 mm/s2. In addition, it has powerful ventilation systems both in the chamber and in the extrusion head.

By default we have a 0.4 mm nozzle (0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 mm as extras) that ejects the material at a temperature of 320 °C through its metal nozzle and its two pressure wheels for the precision extruder. A set that offers a high precision of 0.1 mm.

Other outstanding features

The ELEGOO Centauri Carbon Pro 3D printer features a build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm and touch screen control. The system enables to work with a wide range of filaments and features two-texture magnetic build plate for more flexibility. Supported materials are PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU, PC, PAPA-CF, PET-CF, PAHT-CF and many more.

This 3D printer has its own ELEGOO Slicer software (Orca Slicer version) configured to measure for this printer. To connect to it we have options through Wifi, a USB port on the front. On the back we have the power connector and the waste outlet for the integrated automatic cleaning system.

It also has an internal video camera with LED light to control the printing process at all times and even record a time lapse. With it we can monitor our work in real time or even share clips on our social networks.
