If we are looking for something to print large 3D parts, certainly the ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga is what we need, yes, you must have space available at home. With a printing area of no less than 800 x 800 x 1000 mm it is easy to print even our doghouse in one run. A system that is mounted on a minimalist profile structure that gives it a light air. In addition, it allows you to mount up to 4 print heads to make several pieces simultaneously. All this controlled from a tablet included that allows direct access to the creation process.

ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga Specifications
The ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga printer has a creation volume up to 800 x 800 x 1000 mm, it offers us a profile structure where the printing gantry is mounted with support for up to 4 heads to work simultaneously on identical parts. The printing speed can reach up to 300 mm/s, it is not the fastest, but the volume is more important than the speed. The extruders can be modified up to 300 ºC, this allows us to work with many materials such as PLA, PETG, TPU or Nylon.
We have four screws for Z-axis elevation and linear guides for XY movement. In addition, we have self-leveling for the working plate and leveling feet for the structure. In the structure we have multiple manual leveling systems, something that will be quite critical for a printer of this size, even if the structure is perfectly machined.
Other features of note
The print heads of the 3D ELEGOO OrangeStorm Giga offer us a good set of fans in the heads to keep temperatures at bay, we will need that if a ventilated room working with what materials. The working base can be heated up to 90 ºC and has four different areas to work in different conditions if required.
In the upper area we have a support for the control tablet, in it we have a custom software to manage all the features of the printer. We also have a spool holder of up to 5 kg to supply material for larger prints. We have an integrated filament breakage detector to pause printing in case of disaster.
