The new range of ENGWE APFOUR N1 bicycles has just been presented, products that stand out for their carbon frame and performance.
The new ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 bikes offer 3 different designs, all with carbon frame much lighter than the usual aluminum and offering a very competitive price. These bikes have a total weight between 16 and 19 kg, which makes them one of the lightest bikes within their size and characteristics. We have the ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Pro model with an interesting central engine and modern design as flagship, then we have the ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Air and ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Air ST variants that mount rear engine and a more conventional design.
The configuration of these bikes includes a 250 W motor, maximum speed of 25 km / h, and a torque sensor that will assist us perfectly pedaling. Specifications 100% legal in Europe.
ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Pro
The new ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Pro bike is made of aluminum with a weight of only 18.6 kg. The batteries integrated in the rear tube are 36V 10Ah and offer a range of up to 100 km depending on the mode of use in assisted mode, also depends on our weight and outside temperature. Integrated in the battery we also have a fast charging system, we can have the battery fully charged in 1.5 to 2 hours, a real advantage.
Its electric motor Ananda in the bottom bracket gives us a power of 250 W with high torque up to 80 Nm with assistance system and Shimano 7-speed gearbox. The wheels are 700 x 42 with urban tread, the ideal habitat for this machine.
Among the highlights of the design of this bike highlights the handlebars, we have an integrated front LED light, next to it we can see the indicators of large dimensions. In the rear area of the handlebar we locate an integrated LCD panel that does not give all the information in real time.

With a more conventional design we have the ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Air version which offers a high frame and the ENGWE MAPFOUR N1 Air ST which has a low frame. The two share the same specifications, with a more conventional 250W rear motor, which is better for all types of terrain than the central motor, which is more urban.
The power in these variants is 40 Nm, the price will also be lower compared to the Pro model logically. We have Shimano 7-speed gearbox that is controlled from the classic levers on the handlebars.
As we can see in the promotional video we have many design details. It highlights the fit of the battery in the frame itself and the safety measures that are integrated. We have a 36V 10Ah SAMSUNG battery that can be easily disassembled. The pedaling autonomy can also reach up to 100 km if we pedal in eco mode.
Charging on these models is more normal and we will have to wait between 5 to 8 hours with the default charger. We have mechanical disc brakes on both wheels, LCD panel with live data and lights to indicate position front and rear. The wheels are 700 x 38 and do not have active suspension, a very city design without a doubt.
