EWEAT R10 a new high-end mediaplayer with Realtek SoC


We already have in stores the little brother of the high-end mediaplayer Eweat R11, a new device called EWEAT R10 that is nothing but a reduced version of the R11. The price of the new EWEAT R10 is also considerably reduced although it consists of the elimination of the DAC ESS 9038 PRO and the XLR connectors for example. However, it still retains the same SoC from Realtek, the docks for storage disks of up to 3.5 inches and a careful design of the hardware.

  

SoC, RAM and Storage

The media player Eweat R10 continues to include as engine the new SoC Realtek RTD1296DD, an updated version of the SoC RTD1295, this new SoC is a Quad Core with four ARM Cortex-A53 64bit processors and a Mali-T820mp3 GPU with support for H.265 / VP9 codecs and is capable of playing video up to 4K UHD resolutions with 60fps and HDR and 10bit support. It also includes 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, 16 GB of eMMc storage memory and we can install two SATA3 disks up to 3.5 inches, one in a front bay and one inside the box.

Other features

The Eweat R10 includes WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.0 in terms of wireless networks. The connectors included in this case are 3 USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, a USB Type-C , 4 IR sensors, Gigabit Ethernet port, RS232 port, AES, optical and coaxial audio outputs. As for video it is very complete since it includes an HDMI 2.0a video output, an HDMI input with PiP and analog CVBS type connectors.

The operating system is dual with Android 6.0 and OpenWRT (NAS), if we use the Android system it includes support for Blu-Ray 4K navigation, support for 3D files, audio compatibility without loss or in DD and DTS 7.1 HD formats and automatic change of framne rate.
