New firmware dated February 26, 2026, will update the Tanix TX9 Android stick, which features a reliable Amlogic S905Y4 processor—far superior to the Allwinner H313 typically found in this type of media player.
A small stick that, thanks to its Amlogic S905Y4 quad-core processor, runs smoothly and comes with Android TV 11 as its operating system, along with 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and 16 GB of storage. It also features Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 and can be used as a media receiver with Miracast and DLNA protocols. Its compact size means it has a minimal number of ports: one HDMI port to connect to the TV, an extension cable for the remote control’s infrared sensor, and a USB 2.0 port.
