Formuler Z mini, Android TV Stick for IPTV streaming

The Formuler Z mini is a new device in Stick format created for our TV and oriented to Streaming and IPTV decoding, as we are accustomed to this brand.

A Stick that surprises us by the inclusion of a Realtek RTD1319 SoC that includes support for HDR10, HLG, AV1 and Widevine L1 and L3 DRM certificates and that we assume will have a good video image quality, as it has AFR support. The operating system is Android TV 12 and includes specific support for IPTV decoding with MYTVOnline3 software.

Of its hardware, little else to highlight except its Bluetooth remote control that includes a microphone. A Android Stick that despite having some certificates is NOT compatible with Netflix 4K official, so if we want something for paid streaming better think about other options.

Specifications of the Stick Formuler Z mini

The Formuler Z mini includes a Realtek RTD1319 processor. This chip is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A55 processors and an ARM Mali-G57 MC1 GPU. A configuration that allows us to move demanding apps without many problems, an interesting hardware in terms of power.

On its small board we have soldered 2 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2400 Mhz and 8 GB of eMMc storage memory.

Other notable features

Regarding wireless connectivity, we find Wi-Fi aC 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.0, something that allows us to do local network streaming in good conditions. The included connectors are only a USB-C 2.0 port and an HDMI 2.0b video output, something quite ridiculous and more considering that this Stick has a starting price of $124.

Price and availability
