An interesting fanless miniPC, called FU02, that we found today on AliExpress with a metal case that works as a large heatsink.
In addition to having 0 noise with this mini PC, we have options to mount different low-power Ryzen 4 processors with enough power to run all kinds of programs and many games with lower resolution. We highlight the presence of Wi-Fi 6 series, with two connectors for external antennas and the good RAM expansion options thanks to its two slots.
A nice mini PC for those of us who like to have no noise, and at an interesting price in its barebone version.
FU02 Specifications
The FU02 mini PC has versions with low-power AMD Ryzen 3 4300U, Ryzen 5 4500U and the more powerful Ryzen 7 4700U processors. This latest chip is an Octa Core Zen 2 manufactured in 7nm with 16 threads, maximum speed of 4.1 Ghz, base frequency of 1.8 Ghz with a maximum consumption of only 15 W TPD. In the graphic section, we have a Radeon Vega 7 GPU that allows us to play many demanding titles up to 1080p resolution.
As for RAM, we have two slots for DDR4 3200MHz memory with which we can make Dual Channel configurations of up to 64 GB. For storage, we have a connector for an M.2 2280 NVMe Pcie x4 SSD and for another second internal 2.5″ SATA 3 storage unit.
Other features
In the wireless connectivity section, we have a Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapter that guarantees us good speed in this aspect. On the front of the box we find 3 USB 3.1 ports, two USB 2.0, a 3.5 mm audio jack, two Gigabit RJ45 network connectors and two HDMI 2.0 video outputs with 4K@60 HDR support.
As a system we have Windows 11, if we buy any of the versions with RAM and SSD, and it is compatible with Linux. Optionally, we can purchase a small VESA bracket to hang it behind our monitor, so we can hide this PC without taking up space on our table.
