G7 Max, new Box with Android TV 11, AMlogic S905X4 and Widevine L1

It had been a while since we had found a new TV-Box with Amlogic’s S905X4 processor, and today the G7 Max that we found in AliExpress breaks that trend.

A Chinese Box that this time comes to us with Android TV 11 as the operating system and that, according to what we read in the advertising, has the DRM Widevine L1 certificate that would allow us to watch video on paid streaming platforms in good quality. For the rest of the configuration and thanks to the AMlogic S905X4 SoC we can say that it is suitable as a 4K multimedia player with KODI, CoreELEC or similar or to run games or emulators.

If you want more information about this AMlogic Quad Core SoC you can read our review.

Is it fake?
Please note how they offer “Net flix HD” instead of Netflix. Even Netflix icons are distorted. No Chromecast. Remote looks weird with mouse button, maybe it is IR?
