New mini PC with the name of GEEKOM Mini Air12Lite. A machine of small dimensions with a peculiar 9-pin front port.
This GEEKOM Mini Air12Lite is an interesting solution for many special applications, with its 9-pin connector we can transform it into COM, D-SUB or other external USB. As engine we have the popular Intel N100 low power processor manufactured in 10 nm, which we have seen in some review. A processor sufficient to move Windows 11 Pro smoothly and to use office programs, navigate or use multimedia player with video fluency up to resolutions up to 8K@30fps.
A very versatile small desktop computer at a reasonable price that we can hang on a VESA bracket. It is also useful for other functions such as digital signage or industrial use.
GEEKOM Mini Air12Lite Specifications
The GEEKOM Air12Lite mini PC is powered by the Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm. A chip with four cores and four execution threads that reach up to 3.4 GHz. For the graphics section we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with AV1 video codec up to 8K@30fps. A processor and GPU that is not designed for demanding 3D games, but is sufficient for desktop use.
For RAM memory we have 8 GB DDR4 3200 in a SODIMM module up to 16 GB. It includes by default an M.2 NVMe SSD of 256 GB capacity that we can easily replace up to 4 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of wireless connectivity, the GEEKOM Mini Air12Lite includes Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. The connectors stand out for its front 9-pin port for communications for peripherals or expansions. Also available are 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, two 3.5 mm audio jacks, Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0a video output and miniDP 1.4 output. This configuration allows us to connect two displays simultaneously up to 8K30fps.
Among the included accessories we find a small external power supply, VESA compatible anchor, HDMI cable and we have Windows 11 Pro installed as operating system .
