New version of the economical GenMachine Ren mini PC that changes its processor to a more upgraded and more efficient version.
This new mini PC integrates the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U APU which seems to be the latest version of this very popular generation of processors and implements corrections and improvements. This is a very powerful chip, with a very low TDP and is able to run Windows without problems, any program and be used for casual 3D gaming by adjusting the graphics quality. As we can see, the price of the machine is quite attractive for its configuration.

The new GenMachine Ren upgrade mounts this time an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor manufactured on 7nm. A chip that has six Zen 2 CPU cores with 12 threads with a speed up to 4.5 GHz. In the graphics section, we have a Radeon RX Vega 8 GPU that allows us to play somewhat demanding games. It has an active fan to expel hot air from the side.
If we open the box we find 8/16/32 GB of RAM DDR4-3200Mhz in 2 SODIMM slots that can be expanded up to 64 GB. For storage we have options with an M.2 MVMe 2280 PCIe 3.0 SSD that offers up to 2 TB. We have space in the box for an additional NVMe/SATA 2242 storage drive.
Other notable features
In terms of networking we have mounted a Wifi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 adapter, a RJ45 Gigabit network connector and another 2.5G. The rest of the ports are 2 USB-A 3.0, another 2 USB-A 2.0, 3.5 mm combo audio jack, an HDMI 2.0 and a USB-C with support for video data. In total we have two video outputs with support up to 4K@60fps HDR.
