We found on AliExpress a new mini PC called Genmachine Ren12 with the Intel Core i7-1255U processor, which we haven’t seen too much of in these small devices.
The novelty is basically its Intel Core i7-1255U that allows you to work smoothly in any app and thanks to the 10 nm lithography its power consumption will also be quite low. In the graphics power section we have a new generation Intel Xe GPU, with it, we can run more games or emulators in 3D than in previous versions of the old Intel HD Graphics
The Genmachine Ren12 does not stand out especially in its configuration, we will only point out its two SSD connectors and its Dual Channel RAM memory, something that is always appreciated. We also like its aluminium case that always guarantees an extra cooling bonus for the interior.
Genmachine Ren12 Specifications
The new Genmachine Ren12 mini PC includes the Intel Core i7-1255U processor manufactured in 10 nm and with a TDP between 15 and 55W. This chip has 10 cores and 12 threads, with a maximum speed of 5 GHz. In the graphics section, we have a 96 EU Intel Iris Xe Graphics GPU.
For RAM, we have two SO-DIMM DDR43200 MHz slots, with various options. In the storage section, we have two ports to install two NVMe 2280 PCIe3.0 SSD NVMe 2280 PCIe3.0 drives.
Other notable features
In this mini PC we find good network connectivity with an RJ-45 Gigabit port and Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2. We find on the perimeter of the case of 4 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB-C 3.1 with video output, a 3.5 mm audio jack and two HDMI 2.1 video outputs supporting up to 4K@60fps HDR video resolutions.
The Genmachine Ren12 comes with Windows 10 operating system if purchased with RAM and storage. It includes VESA support and a small external power supply.
