Gigabyte has unveiled its new BRIX mini PCs, the GB-BRR5-430 and GB-BRR7-450, which feature the next-generation AMD Ryzen 400 Series processors.
Those BRIX are powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 7 450 and Ryzen AI 5 430, manufactured using a 4nm process a highly efficient solution with very low power consumption. For graphics, it features the new Radeon 860/840M iGPU, which delivers solid performance. This limits us in terms of 3D performance, but it works perfectly with 4K HDR multimedia thanks to its modern VPU.
This mini PC allows us to install up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, two NVMe SSDs, and 2.5G Ethernet. It includes a USB4 port with data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps.

This mini PC features the Ryzen AI 7 450 processor with eight cores and 10 threads up to 5.1 GHz, and the Ryzen AI 5 430 processor with four cores and eight threads up to 4.5 GHz. These come with AMD Radeon 860M and 840M GPUs, depending on the processor you choose. Both are solid options for desktop computing, which is their primary intended use.
For RAM, you can install up to 96 GB of DDR5 in dual-channel mode at 5600 MHz. For storage, there are two slots for high-speed 2280 PCIe Gen5x4 SSDs, with capacities up to 8 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 2.5G RJ45 port. For ports, there are three USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 port, a 3.5 mm combo audio jack, and two HDMI 2.1 video outputs. On the front panel, there’s also a full-featured USB4 port supporting up to 40 Gbps for connecting an external GPU. In total, you can connect up to four displays at once.
The DC power supply is external, and a VESA mount is included to mount it behind any monitor or TV. The operating system can be Windows 11 or any distribution of Linux.
