Gigabyte presents two new fanless mini PCs in aluminum box that remind us powerfully the Partaker model that we have seen in analysis on our website for years. This miniPCs are designed for industrial use and uses such as digital signage for its number of video outputs and hardware. In this model we find an Intel Apollo Lake processor and an infinite number of connection options to carry out any imaginable project.
Processor, RAM and storage
In the Gigabyte GB-SBCAP3450 and Gigabyte GB-SBCAP4200 passive mini PCs, has installed Intel Celeron N3450 and Intel Pentium N4200 low-power intel processors have an Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU, the processor is in contact with the aluminum case that fulfills the functions of passive heatsink. These models have inside a SODIMM DDR3L slot up to 1866 MHz that allows 8 GB of RAM. At the storage level we have the option to mount two SATA 6Gb / s connectors and one MSATA slot.
Other specifications
At the level of network connections we have a slot for Wifi mini PCIe module, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 connectors on the back, two COM ports and four internal USB 2.0 / 1.1 connectors. We also have HDMI 1.4 video output and another VGA output to connect two monitors at once. Where it stands out most this board is in the list of input and output connectors where we can control all aspects. Internally we have many options for connectivity and advanced communications.
