Lately, not a week goes by without one or two TV-Boxes equipped with the cheap-range Rockchip RK3528 processor, since today we have the new GK28.
This is another generic Chinese Box that will go unnoticed by a store and that integrates the cheap-range Rockchip RK3528 Quad Core SoC. The GK28 at least comes with Android 13 as the system, although it is better not to wait for any firmware update. In the rest of its configuration, only this time to highlight the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity.
Another new cheap-range Box option with the RK3528 SoC that can serve as a multimedia player, even in 4K resolution, to run apps, basic games and little else.
GK28 Specifications
The small TV-Box GK28 includes a Rockchip RK3528 processor. This Chip is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that go up to 2.0 Ghz and a modest ARM MALI-450 MP2 GPU whose clock speed is unknown to us.
For RAM, we have a single version with 2 GB DDR3 and for storage we find 16 GB. We also have a micro SD card reader, so we can always expand the storage memory.
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity, we have a good endowment this time, with Wi-Fi 6 with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we find in its plastic box a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, a 10/100 network connector, an analogue audio and video output jack and an HDMI 2.0b video output port that allows us to take video up to resolutions 4K@60fps.
A simple infrared remote control, power supply and HDMI cable are delivered with the Box GK28 to be able to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
