GM1 a powerful fanless mini PC with Intel Core i7-1355U

The GM1 is an interesting mini PC that we found on AliExpress and whose version with a powerful Intel Core i7-1355U processor and completely fanless design catches our attention.

This is a processor with 10 cores and 12 threads of the latest generation and low consumption with a TDP of 12 to 55 W with which no program will resist us. In addition, we have an Intel Xe iGPU with 96 EU that allows us to run many modern games by tweaking graphic quality options. A mini PC that works without a fan, as it dissipates heat through a large internal heatsink supported by its aluminium case.

Of the connectors, highlight its four 4K video outputs and its USB-C Thunderbolt 4 connector enabled for data transfer up to 40 Gbps, video output and power up to 96 W. Without a doubt a very complete mini PC with good storage expansion options since we can connect up to 3 units.

As engine in the GM1 mini PC we have a Deca Core processor with 12 threads Intel Core i7-1355U manufactured in 10mm. This chip includes 2 high performance cores reaching 5 Ghz and 8 efficient cores reaching 3.7 Ghz. The iGPU is an Intel Iris Xe with 96 EU that reaches 1.3 Ghz.

Inside we find 2 SODIMM DDR4 3200 MHz slots that allow us to expand the memory up to 64 GB. For storage, we have a connector for SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4, another connector M .2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0×1 and space for a third 2.5-inch storage unit with SATA3 interface.

In terms of connectivity, we find Wi-Fi 6 with two external antennas, Bluetooth 5.2 and two 2.5G Ethernet ports with Intel i225-C B3 chipset. As connectors, we find distributed between its front and rear four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Gen 2 Type-A, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4, two 3.5 mm audio jacks, two HDMI 2.0b video outputs and a DisplayPort 1.4 with the ability to output video up to 4K@60Hz resolutions.

The operating system found on the GM1 in the RAM and storage versions is Windows 11 PRO, but we can install Linux if we wish. A small external 19V / 4.74-9A power supply, HDMI cable, SATA cable and VESA bracket for hanging it behind our monitor are included.
