The GMK NucBOX is a tiny miniPC of only 6.2 x 6.2 x 4.2 cm that we have already seen several names in China and today we find this new version that is improved with a Gemini Lake Refresh Intel Celeron J4125 processor.
An update that will suit this mini PC due to its content consumption and greater enough power for day-to-day office tasks, navigation and others thanks to also including 8 GB of RAM, which will allow us to use Windows 10 without problems. The GMK NucBOX is an interesting alternative to mount a clean desk or simply as a mini travel PC, since it fits us in any corner.
SoC, RAM and storage
The GMK NucBOX mini PC includes an Intel Celeron J4125 processor, a Quad Core manufactured in 14 nm capable of reaching 2.7 GHz in burst mode and in which we find an Intel HD Graphics 600 GPU with support for h.265 video playback and VP9 up to 4K resolutions. On the board we have 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and it has a 128/512 GB M.2 2242 disk and a micro SD memory card reader. Note that in the upper part it has a small fan to cool the system.
Other specs
In the connectivity section we have an Intel 7265AC adapter with Wi-Fi aC + Bluetooth 4.2, there was no room for an Ethernet port. In the rear area we have two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C for charging and an HDMI 2.0 video connector up to 4K @ 60fps and a 3.5 mm jack for audio. This tiny computer is compatible with Windows 10 and Linux.
