Today we look at the GMKtec M7 Pro, a complete mini PC that does not have the latest generation hardware, but still has nothing to envy to many higher priced PCs.
Inside, its engine has a powerful AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 6950H. This is an Octa Core processor designed for workstations and based on the Zen 3 micro architecture so we will have a great CPU performance. The iGPU is not far behind either, as we have a RADEON 680M, designed for gaming in 1080p resolutions.
As connectors highlight its two USB4 ports, its quad video output or its two 2.5G network ports. The GMKtec M7 Pro mini PC is powered by a powerful AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 6950H manufactured in 6nm by TSMC and with a TDP of 45W. This chip is an Octa Core with 16 threads with CPU cores that can reach 4.90 Mhz. The integrated GPU is a RADEON 680M with 12 CU with speeds up to 2.4 GHz and AV1 decode capabilities.
As for the RAM memory we have two SO-DIMM DDR5 4800 MHz slots where we can install up to 96 GB in Dual Channel. For storage we have two connectors for SSD M.2 PCIe4.0 NVMe 2280 up to 2 TB. Highlight its cooling system with two fans, one of them exclusively for RAM and storage
Other noteworthy features
Network connectivity is well resolved with two 2.5G RJ45 network ports with Intel i226V chipset and a fast Intel Wifi 6 adapter with Bluetooth 5.2 that reaches up to 2.4 Gbps. As interfaces, we find on the perimeter of the case 2 USb 2.0, 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, 3.5 mm audio jack and HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 video outputs. In addition, we have two USB4 complete with data output, PD 100 W power supply and DisplayPort 1.4 video. To connect eGPU we have the OCulink port which today is the best option available.
This computer is powered by a small external transformer, includes a small VESA plate to anchor it behind any monitor or TV and the operating system is Windows 11 Pro in the versions with RAM and SSD.
