The truth is that Chinese brands make it difficult for us in many cases, since some have the habit of renaming their products ad infinitum.
This is the case that is happening to us today with the GMKTEC NucBox4 mini PC, which is none other than the GMK KB4 that we saw a few days ago. Although with a big difference in price, much cheaper in this “new version”, with more than $120 in our favour.
The differences between the two mini PCs are minimal, although if we put the magnifying glass, the GMKTEC NucBox4 now comes with a high-speed NVMe SSD drive and Windows 11 Pro as the operating system. The rest of its hardware and connectors are the same in both versions, with an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H and 16/512 GB.
GMKTEC NucBox4 Specifications
The GMKTEC NucBox4 mounts an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor, a Quad Core with Eight threads manufactured in 12nm with Zen+ processors that reach up to 4 GHz and that includes a powerful Radeon Vega 10 GPU. As a ventilation system, we have a blower that is in contact directly with the APU.
The RAM memory included in a module is 16 GB DDR4 2400MHz, we have another free slot, while for storage we find a 512 GB M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD inside. Inside this small box, we can also mount another internal 2.5″ SATA 3 storage unit.
Regarding wireless connectivity, we find inside the GMKTEC NucBox4 an Intel-AC 7265 adapters that includes Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2. As connectors, we also find on the sides of its plastic case 4 USB 3.1 ports, a USB Type-C port with data and video output, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a microSD card reader that accepts cards up to 128 GB, Gigabit network connector and two HDMI 2.0 video outputs with 4K@60 HDR support.
The power supply is external 65 W 19V/3.42 A and its hardware is compatible with Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux.
