All devices with Google TV have updated their environment with a new version of the official launcher; we have a new top bar and other improvements.
As we can see in the new design, the top bar is now rounded with integrated sections. Next to it are the screensaver controls, which we can start directly by clicking on the icon, and a new shortcut to settings. We no longer have the settings and profile controls on the right as before. The system is slightly more compact than before, but this is not a significant change.
If you’re not interested in the official launcher, you can always replace it with another one such as Wolf launcher, Projectivy, or AT4K. If you would rather not complicate things with extra apps, you can activate app-only mode in Settings > Accounts > Profile > Apps only.

In the home area, the app icons are now round, reminiscent of the early versions of the Android TV launcher. The movies, series, and apps sections basically retain the same design as in the previous version.
As for advertising, we have bars and suggested content as in the previous version. We recommend going into Settings and disabling everything we can. If we leave only the content we need, the system runs more smoothly, as the memory load involved in so many ads and previews is noticeable.
