We already have in stores a new more powerful version of the tiny laptop GPD Pocket 2 that gives it more power and portability since the consumption of your new heart drops considerably. Now inside this small computer we have an 8th generation Intel Core m3-8100Y processor that substantially improves its predecessor. The rest of the specifications continue being the same as those of the Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor version and the price is very similar.
Processor, RAM and storage
The GPD Pocket 2 mini notebook integrates the powerful Intel Core m3-8100Y a low power processor that has two cores and four threads with a speed that reaches up to 3.4 GHz and integrated GPU lntel HD Graphics 615 with a speed of up to 900 MHz. Consumption is only 5W TPD, to have the temperatures controlled we have an active fan inside that we can deactivate by means of a key. In terms of memory we have 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 128 GB internal storage in eMMc format that we can expand thanks to the included SDXC card reader.
Screen and other features
The screen is a 7-inch H-IPS touch with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels in 16:10 format and that includes Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. At the level of wireless connectivity includes an internal adapter with WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.1.
