These days we have seen through the network 3D renderings of the UMPC prototype of the GPD brand called GPD Win Max, with a design that will not be the end. This time in addition to growing in size it seems that this UMPC will come with the latest 10th Generation Intel Ice Lake processors, among others an Intel Core i7-1065G7, manufactured in 10nm and with a TDP of only 15W. Its design highlights its backlit keyboard on which we have a touchpad, a crosshead, keys and a couple of small Joysticks that will help us play comfortably.
Processor, RAM and Storage
Everything indicates that the UMPC GPD Win Max will have several versions, the most powerful with an Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, a Quad Core capable of reaching 3.90Ghz in Turbo mode and that includes an Intel Iris Plus Graphics GPU with superior performance to the classic Intel HD Graphics. We will also have 16GB of DDR4 RAM, an M.2 SSD and a microSD card reader.
Display and other specifications
This small UMPC will have a screen of which we do not know the size, we assume between 8 and 9 inches, with a resolution of 1,280 × 800 pixels. As for ports we have a Gigabit Network connector, a Thunderbolt 3, a USB Type-C, 2 USB 3.0 and an HDMI video output.
