If only a couple of days ago we present you GTmedia G1, a low-end Box from the Freesat brand, today we have a new team from this family, although this time with better hardware specifications, which is not very difficult. GTmedia G3 is this new TV-Box that is based on the well-known Quad Core of Amlogic S905X SoC that has support for 4K 60fps video output and is able to move without problems KODI and all kinds of apps. For the rest, there is nothing remarkable in this new TV-Box that has a classic quadrangular plastic box.
SoC, RAM and storage
At the level of specifications the GTmedia G3 has a Amlogic S905X SoC as the main engine that includes CPU cores ARM Cortex-A53 64bit with a speed of up to 1.5GHz and an ARM Mali-450mp5 GPU that can also decode 4K video at 60fps. Integrated into the board we find 2 GB of ram RAM, 16 GB of eMMc storage memory.
Connectivity and other features
At the level of connections we have in the wireless part with Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. In terms of connectivity, we found two USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card reader, an HDMI 2.0a, a 10/100 network port, an analog 3.5 mm jack for audio and video, and an SPDIF digital audio output. The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and as always we have an IR remote control among the included accessories.
