GTMEDIA G5 a Box for IPTV with SoC S905X2 already on stores

Today we find on sale on Aliexpress.com a new Box of the Freesat brand specialized in boxes for IPTV called GTMEDIA G5. A box that as main novelty presents an Amlogic S905X2 SoC that surpasses the other models of this brand and 4GB of RAM that will not come at all bad to move your entire custom system based on Android 9.0 fluently. As always, a box oriented to be used with IPTV apps such as Stream IPTV or Stalker IPTV as it includes specific software for this.

SoC, RAM and storage

The GTMEDIA G5 includes as a motor the AMlogic S905X2 SoC a Quad Core that integrates a new and powerful Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, as a novelty in video playback we have a new VPU that integrates specific hardware to encode and decode h.265 codecs and VP9. We have 4 GB of DDR3 RAM memory and 64GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from the microSD card reader that includes this equipment on one side.

Other specifications

At the level of wireless connectivity this box has dual band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. As connectors we have an HDMI 2.0a interface, 10/100 network connector, a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0 and a 3.5mm jack through which we have analog audio and video output.
