Great price on AliExpress for the GXMO GX55 mini PC, a computer with the new Intel Celeron N5105 processor and that we have available both in barebone version and with RAM and storage.
Its most relevant point is its Intel Celeron N5105 processor, which is manufactured in 10nm, something that provides us with good general performance and very low consumption. The size of the GXMO GX55 is minimal, only 126 x 113 x 41 mm, measurements that allow it to be placed in any corner of our table or hung behind our monitor thanks to its VESA support.
Interesting in this mini PC are its expansion options, since we have 2 slots for DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM, a connector for an M.2 NVme 2280 SSD and a bay for a 2.5″ SATA3 storage unit. A good mini PC for multiple uses that is currently at a great price.
GXMO GX55 Specs
On the motherboard of the GXMO GX55 mini PC we have soldered an Intel Celeron N5105 processor manufactured in 10nm. This Chip is a Quad Core capable of reaching 2.9 GHz in burst mode and in which we find an Intel UHD Graphics GPU with support for h.265 and VP9 video playback up to 4K60fps resolutions. Attached to the processor, we have a fan that extracts air from the side of the box to keep temperatures at bay.
For RAM we have versions with 8 and 16 GB DDR4 in two SODIMM modules, while for storage we have an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD with options of 128/256/512 GB and 1 TB. In addition, inside the box, we are allowed to mount a second SATA 3.0 storage unit of a size of 2.5″.
Other features
This mini PC includes Wi-Fi aC Dual Band wireless connectivity with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.2. In terms of ports, we find on the perimeter of the box two USB 3.0 connectors, two USB 2.0, three video outputs with two HDMI 2.0 and one USB Type-C that allow video resolutions of up to 4K @ 60fps, audio jack of 3.5 mm and finally a Gigabit network connector.
The included operating system is Windows 11, although any Linux distribution can be used. A computer that, in addition to the classic office automation tasks, can also be used to play IPTV, KODI add-ons, a SAMBA server or run arcade emulators.
