Few TV-Boxes we see usually with internal bay for storage units but today we find the TV-Box HD10 a device that also includes the RK3328 SoC that we do not remember seeing in this format. Internal bay apart this TV-Box highlights for its large format box, we assume that metallic with a front panel LED. Its hardware is perhaps not the best we’ve seen wearing Rockchip’s SoC but the possibility of mounting a disk is a good attraction.
SoC, RAM and storage
The HD10 TV-Box has as its heart the RK3328 SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450mp2 GPU that includes native H.265 and VP9 video decoding up to 4K@60fps resolutions with support for HLG HDR included. We also have 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended by means of the microSD card reader that includes and using the internal bay for 2.5″ disks that we find on one of the sides.
Connectivity and other specifications
At the level of wireless connections we have b/g/n WiFi installed, we do not know if it has antennas or not as there are photos in which if they leave and others in which no and Bluetooth 4.0. As ports we have a USB 3.0 connector, three USB 2.0, 10/100 network connector, SPDIF digital audio output, AV jack and an HDMI 2.0a port.
This TV-Box also includes a feeder, HDMI cable and a basic IR remote control with some keys enabled for cloning. The operating system is Android 7.1.
