Helio P60 a new Octa core SoC from Mediatek ready for the MWC

Everything seems to indicate that during the MWC that opens next Monday we will be able to see a new SoC Mediatek Helio from the Performance range in action. A benchmark for this SoC appeared in the Geekbench software database where under the nickname of MTK P60 MWC Demo we have the results of this well-known test over this new SoC Helio P60 running under the new Android 8.1 system.

Mediatek Helio 1

We do not have too much data of this new SoC from Mediatek but the Helio P60 would be an Octa Core that surely according to its performance will include a pair of clusters, one with ARM Cortex-A53 processors with a maximum frequency of 2.0Ghz and a second with processors ARM Cortex-A73. A configuration capable of competing a priori in the segment of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 although there are still to know data about its GPU, which as usual will undoubtedly be a step below that included in the chips against which it competes. Regarding the manufacturing process there is no data, we bet on the 14nm.

We hope to see more about the Helio P60 first hand next Monday at the MWC and share them with you.
