Today we present a new hybrid between tablet and mini PC by the Gole brand, a manufacturer that has specialized in this type of products. Its name is HiGole F11APL and it is a fully passive device that can be widely used in smart homes, industries, hospitals, schools, 3D printing, ATMs or outlets.
The hardware of this hybrid has been updated, we usually find basic processors such as the Intel Atom Z8350 but this time we have the Intel Celeron N3450 Quad Core processor of the Apollo Lake generation. We also have important functions in this type of products such as Wake On Lan, programmed power-on and COM ports.
SoC, RAM and storage
The HiGole F11APL includes the Intel Celeron N3450 SoC with four cores and four threads that can reach 2.2GHz and has an integrated Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU that allows us to play any usual video format. The cooling system is fanless to avoid possible maintenance.
This tablet mounts in its basic version 4GB of RAM integrated in the motherboard, at the storage level inside the case we have 64GB of eMMC memory installed, we also have an M.2 slot to mount an SSD disk. The system installed and activated by default in eMMC memory will be Windows 10.
Other specifications
The HiGole F11APL screen is an 11.6-inch IPS with 5 touch points, has a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels and reaches a brightness of up to 250 ANSI Lumens. For wireless connectivity we have 2.4 / 5GHz Dual Band WiFi with internal antenna, we also have a Gigabit Ethernet port with WoL ignition system.
At the connector level we have an HDMI 1.4 video output interface, 3.5mm audio jack, two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, four COM ports, three RS232 and one RS485. We also have the option to expand the system with a 4G LTE module to be able to use it in areas without access to Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Inside this box we also have two speakers built into the sides.
