From Himedia we receive information about your new Himedia V3C product, a truly original device that integrates a quality speaker system, a surveillance camera and an intelligent assistant controlled by Alexa in the same hardware. As we see in the images, this tower with a peculiar design is designed to take a central point in our living room.
During the official presentation of the Himedia AV Robot company president Mr. Chen Wu remarked that “At the time of artificial intelligence, the internet companies should integrate service with hardware closely to make better user experience. The HIMEDIA AV Robot is a new home entertainment center with artificial intelligent perfectly integrated.”. As we see it is an important product for Himedia as it symbolizes a step forward in the world of personal assistants for the home.
The Himedia V3C hides within its tower a Harman Kardon speaker system that includes a 15 W subwoofer and two 7.5 W Tweeters, also integrates two Sisonic microphones to control Alexa at a distance of up to 5 meters. In the upper part we have a removable rotating camera that rotates 120º with Sony sensor of great opening up to 1080p of resolution that serves us as a security or video conference system. Along with the tower we have a Bluetooth remote control that also has an integrated microphone. This device also helps us to manage the domotics of our house as it integrates IoT services to communicate with them from the operating system, lights, air conditioning and alarms are within this control.
At the hardware level the Himedia V3C integrates a Quad Core Cortex-A53 SoC with Mali-450MP GPU that is possibly the Hisilicon Hi3798M V200, this hardware version is for the Chinese version and in the export version perhaps change. This processor that allows us to reproduce all types of 4K video and audio files with excellent quality thanks to its compatibility with HDR formats and multichannel sound.
In the rest of the specifications we have 2GB of DDR4 RAM, 8GB of internal storage expandable by SD thanks to the Android 7.0 system, HDMI 2.0a 4K@60fps video output, Wifi aC, Bluetooth 4.2 + EDR, Coaxial SPDIF, Ethernet port Gigabit and a USB 3.0 connector. For now we have no price or date of departure of its international version, we hope to give more information soon and make a review of this particular device Himedia V3C.
