HK1 MAX a cheap Box with RK3328 SoC and 4GB of RAM

New Box called HK1 MAX based on the RK3328 SoC and in which we found 4GB of RAM installed as standard. This time we have a box that mostly looks for the reduced price, something that is noticeable in its specifications since for example it lacks Bluetooth and its interfaces are the basic ones in the TV-Box format. A mediaplayer that will go through without penalty or glory in a market saturated by this type of TV-Box that contribute very little.

SoC, RAM and storage

In the TV Box HK1 MAX we find as core the RK3328 SoC, a Quad Core ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450mp2 GPU that includes native decoding of H.265 video and VP9 up to resolutions 4K @ 60fps with HLG HDR. It also includes 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended by adding a memory card in the included microSD card reader. A SoC that works well as a mediaplayer but with a GPU that is little short for last generation 3D games.

Connectivity and other features

As for wireless connections, this equipment only has b/g/n WiFi with internal antenna. On the perimeter of the plastic box a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0, 10/100 network connector, analog AV output and an HDMI 2.0a port for video.
