HK1 more firewood for the low-cost sector with S905W SoC and 2GB of RAM

New TV-Box with low-end Android that we found in our daily visit to Chinese stores, this time called HK1. This time we have a Quad Core SoC from Amlogic S905W to as engine that as you know has support for 4K video playback but only at 30fps maximum, so it is suitable for TVs with FullHD resolutions. About the rest of the specifications, little to comment, since they are the currents in this range, although in this case we do not have Bluetooth connectivity.

SoC, RAM and storage

The TV-Box HK1 includes the Amlogic S905W SoC, a Quad Core with 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores capable of reaching 1.5GHz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU capable of decoding video up to 4K@30fps resolutions. On the board it has 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the microSD card reader that we have on the side of its box. Some hardware with which we can move KODI without problems.

Other features

At the level of wireless connectivity we only have Wi-Fi b/g/n with internal antenna and as connectors we find an HDMI 2.0 interface, a pair of USB 2.0 connectors, an analog A / V output and a network port distributed around the perimeter of the box RJ45 10/100.

The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and as always among the accessories an IR remote control.
