We can now reserve on aliexpress a new Smartphone called HOMTOM C1, a low-price terminal that stands out for including Android 8.1 Go. This is an optimized version of Android for terminals with a basic hardware like the HOMTOM C1 that includes only 1GB of RAM and a old fashion SoC. Theoretically with this version of Android this hardware has to move very fluid since Android Go includes many optimizations of memory, apps and battery.
SoC, RAM and storage
The HOMTOM C1 includes as engine the Mediatek MT6580A Quad Core SoC, a usual Low Cost in this range, with ARM Cortex-A7 processors that operate at a maximum of 1.3Ghz and a MALI-400mp2 GPU. We also find 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage memory that we can expand using a microSD card. A basic SoC that will allow us to move most apps and games that do not have much graphic load.
Screen and other specifications
The screen of the HOMTOM C1 is a 5.5 inches IPS with a resolution of 1280 x 640 pixels and that includes a 3MP front camera and two rear Samsung 13 + 2MP with different shooting modes and LED flash. It also includes WiFi b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3000 mAh battery, fingerprint reader, GPS and a 3G Dual SIM modem. The available connectors are the usual microUSB and a 3.5mm audio jack.
