New Chinese smartphone that reaches the competitive segment of the cheapest terminals, this time the so-called HOMTOM C2 that can be purchased for less than $79.99 (70€). A smartphone with decent specifications for its price and that includes Android 8.1 thanks to the inclusion of a SoC of last batch of Mediatek as is its the Quad Core MT6739. The design surprisingly this time does not include notch and that your frames are narrow for what you see in this segment.
Processor, RAM and storage
The HOMTOM C2 incorporates the Mediatek MT6739 SoC as core, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5Ghz and including a PowerVR GE8100 GPU that can reach 570Hz of maximum speed. We also have 2 GB of RAM memory and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded thanks to the microSD card reader.
Screen and other features
The screen of the HOMTOM C2 is a 5.5 inches with an HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, which as usual includes light sensor, proximity, a 5 MP camera that complements the rear 8 (Samsung) + 2 MP with Flash. We also have a 3000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio and includes a Cat.4 LTE modem with support for Dual SIM and Dual VoLTE.
As for connectors we found a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Also comment that among the accessories we have a TPU case.
