HONGTOP P30 PRO, HD projector with Android 14 and auto correction

New HONGTOP P30 PRO projector unveiled, a device that competes in price in the low range and offers some interesting features

This is a projector with a tubular shape and rotating bracket, a design suitable for orienting the image to any angle. Inside we find the Allwinner H723 processor, a variant of the H713 that we find in other similar projectors such as the popular Magcubic HY300 PRO that we saw recently in a review. The native resolution of this projector is HD with 1280 x 720 pixels and has a brightness of 180 ANSI Lumens, which limits its use for dark environments.

The configuration of the HONGTOP P30 PRO integrates in the front a small camera that offers automatic keystone correction. This is not very common in this range of cheap projectors, where this type of correction is done manually.

HONGTOP P30 PRO projector specifications

This HONGTOP P30 PRO features LCD projection technology, a native HD 720p resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1000:1 contrast and 180 ANSI Lumens brightness. The focus is manual, but the keystone correction is automatic. We can get a screen with recommended dimensions ranging between 30″ and 150″ placing it at a distance of between 1 and 3.5 m.

In this projector for its small size we do not have direct control keys, we only have a power button. We can only control it through the remote control that is included with this projector.

Connections, multimedia and other notable features

Integrated on the projector board is the Allwinner H723 low power consumption Quad Core SoC. A chip that includes 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.8 Ghz and an ARM MALI-G31 MP2 GPU with support for HDR10 and MEMC video. We also have on its motherboard 1 GB of RAM DDR4, 8 GB of storage memory, Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

In the rear area of the HONGTOP P30 PRO we have a USB 2.0 port, analog audio and video input port and an HDMI 2.0 video input connector. For audio we have integrated in its body a 5 W speaker and the operating system is Android 14 with a customization layer for use with the included remote control.
