Today we found a new HONGTOP P50, a projector that stands out for its design, with an integrated stand and square case.
The new HONGTOP P50 projector has a bottom bracket that allows us to position it quite well and tilt it stably. It has FullHD native resolution and a powerful brightness of 800 ANSI Lumens, according to the brand’s data. The hardware that mounts for multimedia is presented with the recent SoC Allwinner H713 which is based on the Android 11 system. With it we can directly play any modern video format as we saw in our review of the SoC Allwinner H7XX.
A fairly powerful projector that allows us to see content of all kinds in our living room and that for the price seems quite promising in its range.
HONGTOP P50 Specifications
This new projector features LCD technology, supports native resolution up to 1920×1080 pixels, 10000:1 contrast ratio and 800 ANSI Lumens brightness. The focus and keystone correction is automatic thanks to its front camera. We can get a screen with recommended dimensions between 40″ and 150″ placing it between 0.5 and 3 m. Thanks to the lower support we can adjust it 30º vertically and 15º horizontally to move it away from the center of the image.
We will be able to control the system through the Bluetooth remote control included in this version. From the remote control we can manage all aspects of the environment and even use the integrated microphone.
Connections, multimedia and other features
Inside the HONGTOP P50 we have as engine an Allwinner H713 SoC, a chip that includes 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.9 Ghz and an ARM Mali-G31MP2 GPU with support for HDR10 and MEMC video technologies. Specifications in other aspects are unclear, we do not know the amount of RAM, storage, Wifi or Bluetooth version that mounts.
This projector includes in the rear area two USB 2.0 ports, audio jack port, IR connector, microSD reader and an input HDMI 2.0 video connector. We also have access to the rear dust filter for convenient cleaning outside the projector.
