The Chinese brand HONOR has just presented its new range of terminals with the HONOR 300 as the most affordable mid-range of them.
A terminal with a slim design and quite light with its 175 g, despite this we have a resistant body with IP65 certification and a decent battery of 5400 mAh with 100 W fast charging. Of its configuration highlights its AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh and a brightness capable of reaching peaks of 4,400 nits, almost nothing. The cameras are well maintained, as we have a 50 MP OIS main camera at the back and a 50 MP front camera.
Inside is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor capable of moving apps and games without difficulty and that, as a reference, has a score that exceeds 822,000 points in Antutu V10. Its operating system is Android 15 with the custom MagicOS 9.0 layer.
HONOR 300 Specifications
The SoC chosen in this new terminal is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (SM7550-AB), an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. This is a chip with 1 Arm Cortex-A715 processors that reach 2.63 Ghz, 3 Arm Cortex-A715 that reach 2.4 Ghz and 4 ARM Cortex-A510 that reach up to 1.8 GHz. In the graphics section we have integrated GPU ADRENO 720 and that allows us to play demanding titles with total fluidity.
The on-board RAM memory is 8/12/16 GB LPDDR4X that allows us to load multiple apps or browsing tabs. For storage we have options with 256/512 GB UFS 3.1 expandable by micro SD card up to 1 TB.
Display and other features
The screen of the HONOR 300 is a 6.7″ AMOLED display, with a resolution of 2644 x 1200 pixels with HDR support, maximum brightness of 4000 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In the photographic section we have a SONY main rear camera with 50 MP IMX906 OIS supported by a 12MP wide angle, while in the front area we have a 50 MP camera.
For audio we find two speakers and the battery is 5300 mAh with 100W fast charging. For connectivity, we have Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS 5 in 1, infrared sensor and a 5G modem with Dual SIM. As interfaces, we find a single USB-C port while in this case the fingerprint reader to unlock the smartphone is integrated into the screen.
