The new HONOR 500 Pro has just been presented in China, a high-end terminal quite compact for today’s smartphones thanks to its 6.55-inch screen.
Inside its IP69K certified metal body and 7.75 mm thick we have a large 8000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging, which will give us many hours of autonomy and that does not weigh down the weight that stays at about 201 grams. The cameras are the star of this HONOR, with a 200 MP main camera and a 50 MP Zoom x3 that are supported by the YOYO assistant capable of generating with iA, all kinds of photographic effects, short videos, gif’s and much more.
As a central axis we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor that being manufactured in 3 nm will provide us with high efficiency and power when we need it, as it has a result that is around 3,500,00 in Antutu. The operating system is Android 16 with MagicOS 10 layer and highlight that on one side we find a physical button to quickly launch the iA assistant.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, an Octa Core manufactured in 3nm is in charge of moving this new HONOR. Inside this chip we find a configuration of 2 clusters, the fastest with 2 Oryon cores that reach 4.32 Ghz and a second with 6 Oryon that reach 3.53 Ghz. The GPU is an Adreno 830 that reaches 1.1Ghz.
The RAM memory has options with 12/16 GB LPDDR5X, although we can expand it virtually as usual. For storage, we have versions with 256/512 GB and 1 TB UFS 4.1 high speed.
Display and other features
Its display is an AMOLED with 6.55-inch size, 2736 x 1264 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh, maximum brightness of up to 1800 Nits, and HDR support.
For selfies we have on the front a 50 MP camera, while on the back we have a 200 MP OIS main sensor, a 12 MP wide-angle and a 50 MP OIS x3 telephoto lens. We also find a fingerprint reader under the screen, infrared sensor, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and GPS among others.
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we have at our disposal a USB-C port for data and recharging. The battery is 8000 mAh with 80 W fast charging, 50 W wireless and for audio we have two speakers.
Availability and price
- The new HONOR 500 Pro has just gone on sale in China from about 440 € at the exchange rate, and at the moment we can only get it via stores like AliExpress.
