The new HONOR MagicPad 3 12.5 is now available in China, a third-generation tablet that this time uses a 12.5-inch screen with 3K resolution.
As in all tablets of this generation, we find an aluminum body with a fairly contained weight of 528 grams. This new Honor repeats the powerful high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will give us exceptional performance and has a score of around 2,100,000 points in Antutu v10.
Its operating system is Android 15 with the MagicOS 9.0.1 layer that includes many utilities powered by iA and that will soon be updated to MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. And finally highlight its battery with fast charging of 66 W and its audio system that integrates no less than 8 speakers also optimized by iA that make it quite interesting to watch video.

This tablet includes the powerful Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC manufactured by TSCM on 4nm. This chip reaches up to 3.3 GHz in its ARM Cortex-X1 core, has three other ARM Cortex-A720 cores at lower speeds and four low-power ARM Cortex-A520 CPUs. In the graphics section we have an Adreno 735 GPU with OpenGL 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 support.
This tablet has options with 8/12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of high-speed UFS 4.0 storage memory.
Other notable features
The Honor MagicPad 3 has a 12.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 3048 x 2032 pixels, maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a refresh rate that reaches 165 Hz. A screen that is quite a bit worse than the previous Magicpad 2 which was an excellent 12.3″ OLED, it seems that it matters more to gain an inch than to have a superior quality panel.
The front camera is 8 MP and on the back we have a 13 MP main camera and a LED flash. In the audio section we have 8 speakers that support 3D audio, we have a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and the battery is 10,100 mAh with 66 W fast charging.
Price and availability
- The new Honor MagicPad 3 12.5 is currently only available in China for $339 / 325 €, although in a few days it will be available in stores like AliExpress.
