A new budget handset, the HONOR Play10A, has just been launched in China and, as usual in this segment, it is equipped with a popular Dimensity 6300.
A smartphone that does not particularly stand out in any of its facets, although it should be noted that it has a price that does not break the barrier of 100 € in China. As for the processor, we have the famous MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which offers a fairly balanced performance and as a reference is at the height of a Snapdragon 695 5G.
The operating system is Android 15 with the layer of this brand MagicOS 9.0, by the way that includes a body reinforced against falls although no certification of this is not specified, as it is proprietary technology of this sub-brand of Huawei.

The RAM memory is 4/6 GB LPDDR4x although we can expand it virtually as usual. For storage we have options with 128 GB UFS 2.2 that we can expand via micro SD slot up to 2 TB.
Display and other notable features
Its display has a 6.75-inch IPS panel with an HD resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, 90 Hz refresh, 1500:1 contrast and a brightness of up to 700 Nits.
For selfies we have on the front a 5 MP camera that complements the 13 MP rear that is supported by a 2 MP auxiliary and a LED flash. We also have fingerprint reader integrated into the screen, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wifi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 and GPS 5 in 1 for precise geographic positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we find a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery is 5300 mAh with 15 W charging and for audio we have a speaker.
Price and where to buy
- The new HONOR Play10A can currently only be purchased in China for a price of around 97 € at the exchange rate, although it will surely be available soon on AliExpress.
