The new HONOR X7c 5G has just been unveiled, a mid-range budget handset that, as its name suggests, already includes 5G connectivity.
This Smartphone is a version of the HONOR X7c that repeats its body reinforced against falls and enjoys IP64 certification so it is made to withstand dust, water splashes and immersion at low depth for up to 3 minutes.
Its processor is an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 that being manufactured in 4 nm is going to provide us with high energy efficiency and a pretty decent performance. Finally, the operating system is Android 14 with the layer of this brand, MagicOS 8.0, which does not come with the Google app store.
HONOR X7c 5G Specifications
The SoC of this new HONOR is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (SM4450), an Octa Core manufactured in 4nm by Smasung. Inside, we have two clusters, the most powerful with 2 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and the most efficient with 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 1.95 Ghz. The GPU is an Adreno 613 that reaches 955 MHz.
The RAM memory has options with 8 GB LPDDR4X, although we can virtually expand it with another 8 GB as usual. For storage, we have versions with 256 GB UFS 3.1 that we can expand via micro SD slot up to 2 TB
Display and other features
Its display is a 6.8-inch IPS with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh, 1500:1 contrast, maximum brightness of 100 Nits, 20:9 aspect ratio and includes light and proximity sensors.
For selfies, we have a 5 MP camera on the front that complements the 50 MP rear camera, which is aided by a secondary 2 MP depth camera. We also have a fingerprint reader on one side, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, and 5 in 1 GPS for precise geographic positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we find a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging. The battery is 5200 mAh with 35 W fast charging and for audio we have two HI-res speakers.
