The new HONOR X80 Pro Max has been unveiled, a mid-range smartphone featuring a Snapdragon SoC and boasting a massive battery with a capacity of no less than 11,000 mAh.
This device features a retro design, an AMOLED display, and a large battery with fast charging, allowing for nonstop use for many hours of battery life. It’s powered by the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, designed to run most apps and games smoothly and, for reference, scores around 650,000 points on Antutu V10.
Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with the brand’s custom UI, MagicOS 10. The device is built to meet IP68/IP69K certification standards for dust and water resistance.
HONOR X80 Pro Max Specifications
The SoC powering the device is the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 (SM6850), an octa-core processor manufactured on a 4 nm process. This chip features 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors clocked at up to 2.6 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. On the graphics side, it features an integrated Adreno 812 GPU, which allows you to play demanding games smoothly and without issues.
The on-board RAM is 8/12 GB, allowing you to run multiple apps or browser tabs simultaneously. For storage, options include 128/256/512 GB, which are not expandable.
Display and Other Features
The HONOR X80 Pro Max features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2788×1280 pixels, a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. On the camera front, it features a 50 MP main rear camera supported by a wide-angle secondary camera and an LED flash, while the front-facing camera is an 8 MP unit.
For audio, there are two speakers, and the battery is 1100 mAh with fast charging up to 90 W. Connectivity options include an IR sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, 5-in-1 GPS, and a 4G/5G modem with Dual SIM support. In terms of ports, there is a single USB-C 2.0 port, and the fingerprint reader is integrated beneath the display. The dimensions are 162.2 × 77.0 × 8.08 mm, and it weighs 203 g.
