We already have available in Chinese stores the new HUAWEI Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 laptops with a 16.1-inch screen and some very interesting specifications in which an integrated Nvidia MX350 GPU stands out.
What catches your attention the most at first glance is its screen, with bezels of only 4.9 mm that allow 90% of the screen to be used. The details of these notebooks are many, with an aluminum body, fingerprint reader, 1MP camera hidden under one of the function keys and a high-quality screen that covers 100% of the sRGB color space. A laptop to consider but we would like even more with a Ryzen 4000.
Processor, RAM and storage
The new HUAWEI Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 are available with Intel Core i7-10510U Quad Core processors for the higher model and an Intel Core i5-10210U for the cheaper model. Both have an integrated Intel GPU and a GeForce MX350 with 2GB of DDR5 RAM that will allow us to move even modern games to decent resolutions. The entire system is cooled by a solution in which we have a pair of fans.
The RAM included in both laptops is 16GB DDR4 2666MHz and for storage we have a NVMe PCIe SSD with 512GB capacity that comes with Windows 10 Home pre-installed.
Screen and other specifications
The screen is a 16.1-inch IPS with an FHD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, with a maximum brightness of 300 nits and a contrast of 1000: 1. At the level of wireless connectivity we have WiFi aC 2 × 2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0. While the included connectors are a USB Type-C port valid for data, video and power, 3 USB-A 3.0, an HDMI video output and a 3.5mm audio jack.
