A new mid-range terminal has just been presented, the HUAWEI nova Y72S, which will arrive in the West soon and guarantees its autonomy with a good 6000 mAh battery.
A smartphone with a hardware according to its price in which basically highlights its large battery and its X Buton, a physical button that we can program to our liking to start a specific app or perform any other option that comes to mind. As a processor this time it opts for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (SM6225), an Octa Core manufactured in 6 nm with a good performance in its price range.
As an operating system we have Android with the EMUI 14 environment, although we do not have access to Google services, and we will have to settle for the Huawei app store, watch out for this.
HUAWEI nova Y72S specifications
This smartphone is powered by an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC manufactured in 6 nm by TSMC. It has a fast quad-core cluster with up to 2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold and a power-saving cluster with up to 1.8 GHz Kryo 265 Silver. In addition, this SoC integrates a mid-range Adreno 610 GPU, which allows you to play any current title without problems.
This new smartphone will arrive with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM versions and 128 / 256 GB of high-speed storage memory expandable via micro SD card slot that we have on the side.
Display and other features
The display of the HUAWEI nova Y72S is a 6.75-inch IPS with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. The front camera is 8 MP, the rear one is 50 MP and is supported by a 2 MP macro and the typical LED flash.
On one of its sides we find a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer as the only port. We also have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 4G modem with Dual SIM and GPS 5 in 1 for localization. The battery is 6000 mAh with HUAWEI SuperCharge of 22.5 W, has the fingerprint sensor integrated in the power button and weighs 207 grams.
