It seems that Android TV is starting to work and judging by what we saw in the IFA 2018 in the coming months we will see a good number of devices of all kinds with this Google OS. Today we present the Humax Vision a projector that includes Android TV as a system and that thanks to its long-range microphones can also use without problems the intelligent assistant Google voice assistants. A projector that seems quite worked at the external design with apparently a compact metal chassis of only 123.5 x 174 x 116mm and a weight of around 1.5 Kg.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Humax Vision projector includes a Quad Core SoC whith four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-T820MP4 GPU, with which it is possible that it is an Mstar 6A838. It also integrates 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of eMMC storage memory, enough for streaming apps and basic multimedia use.
Projector and other specifications
The Humax Vision includes a short DLP projector with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels and luminosity of 200 ANSI lumens. The focus is manual, it has automatic trapezoidal correction and it is your body we have a pair of 5W speakers.
This projector also includes Dual Band WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, a USB 2.0 port, and finally a 10/100 network connector.The operating system is Android TV 8.0 and includes standard compatibility with streaming apps like HBO and others, although Netflix is not currently supported.
