Today we find a Box prepared for emulation that seems very interesting for its price and what it offers called Hyper Base R1.
This seems to us a good option, as it includes Box Tanix TX3 with SoC Amlogic S905X3 and 4 GB of RAM. In addition to using this box as an emulator we can move most apps, play 4K UHD content at 60 fps without problems and games in 2D and 3D. As systems we have Android 9 in the internal memory as in a normal Box and EmuELEC 4.4 in a micro SD with more than 70 emulators installed and thousands of games. We just have to insert the micro SD with EmuELEC loaded with games, to start the Box in emulation mode and access the games, if we do not insert it, the Box will start with Android 9.
A simple and fairly inexpensive solution for those who do not want to complicate with installations and downloads of retro games that also includes a pair of joysticks with vibration to play. As always, we recommend backing up the micro SD card as soon as it arrives.
Hyper Base R1 Specifications
The Hyper Base R1 Box is powered by a 12nm AMlogic S905X3 SoC. This chip is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A55 processors up to 1.9 GHz and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The VPU is an Amlogic Video Engine 10 with HDR10, HDR10 and HLG support among others.
We also have 4 GB of RAM LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal storage eMMc that we can expand thanks to the micro USB card reader or one of the USB ports.

This Box includes Dual Band Wifi and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless connectivity. The connectors included in the plastic box are a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, a 10/100 Ethernet connector, SPDIF audio port and a HDMI 2.1 video output.
